- Pre-sell as many tickets as possible in advance of
your event (for example hand out 20 per person for them
to sell beforehand to ensure you cover the cost of the
race and helps you make a profit.

- Approach local businesses to sponsor your balloons and gas. This will reduce your outgoings leading to excellent profits.

- The person who buys the ticket fills in their contact details which is then attached to the inflated balloon and released into the sky.
|
- When the ticket lands many miles away the person who finds its is asked to post it back to the address before the closing date which is of course printed on the back of the ticket.

- The prize should be awarded to the person who bought the ticket which traveled the furthest. Please try and get your prize sponsored to reduce the costs.

- If your event is within 10 miles of an airport, you must inform the airport of the balloon race
Please inform your local police if over 100 balloons are to be released.

- Please also contact the Civil Aviation Authority if more than 100 are to be released.
|
- Please release balloons in small quantities.
|
- If you are releasing a large quantity of balloons the Civil Aviation Authority may need 28 days notice.
